Cactusforce 2027 is coming to Scottsdale, Arizona, January 21–22, 2027, and we’re looking for speakers who want to go beyond the trail and share how they build, architect, automate, and solve complex problems.

We want the details. Show us the solution. Walk us through your Flow. Draw the architecture. Tell us what broke, what you learned, and how you ultimately solved the problem.

Our attendees include experienced developers, architects, advanced systems administrators, and technical professionals from Phoenix and beyond. They come to expand their knowledge, explore complex problems, and learn from people who have actually built things.

Cactusforce is different because we embrace the difficult, messy challenges software engineers encounter in the dark corners of the Salesforce platform.

Cactusforce sessions encourage lively discussions and candid conversations between speakers and attendees. A great presentation is an opportunity for technical people to gather in the same room to dig into common challenges.

Who Should Submit?

The ideal Cactusforce speaker is comfortable diving into complex technical concepts and walking through something they actually built.

Got some AI stories? Vibe coded a cool app? We want to hear about it.

It doesn't stop at Salesforce! Talks on other platforms and technologies are welcome. Share your solutions built on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, iOS, Android, and others.

Session Formats

Session Talks - 50 minutes to show how a solution was built.

That could mean live code, an architecture walkthrough, a declarative automation demonstration, or a detailed case study. Slides should be minimal or unnecessary.

You get a whole 50 minutes for presenting the solution followed by Q&A and discussion.

Workshops - hands-on training sessions

Attendees bring their laptops and work through a solution themselves. You might guide attendees through a design pattern, build a Flow for a specific scenario, or work through a well-architected solution.

If your topic is best learned by doing, a workshop could be the right format.

602 Lightning Talk - 6 minutes and 2 second quick talk

Have something awesome to show but only need a few minutes to do it? Just a lightning-fast explanation of something fun, clever, useful, or technically challenging.

The format takes its name from 602, Arizona's original area code.
